The Convent

St. John’s Convent, as the Mother House, is called to be a strong centre of prayer, community, and mission which nurtures and supports the life of the whole Sisterhood.

The Convent’s mission includes:

    • A Guest House where individuals and groups are welcomed for rest, refreshment, for retreat, and share in the Community’s prayer and liturgy - read more about guest house » / retreats » / liturgy »

    • A regular schedule of retreats, quiet days, and workshops - retreats »

    • Availability of Sisters to preach, teach, speak, lead retreats and quiet days

    • The offering of spiritual direction by Sisters and Associates details »

    • Using the gifts of all sisters in areas such as church embroidery, art, music, and writing.

The Sisters welcome guests for rest, refreshment, retreat, and participation in the Community's prayer and liturgy. All are welcome. Please call the guest house ahead of time if you wish to attend a liturgy at the Convent.
