Humour, Hope and Healing
Theme Retreat: October 26-28, 2012
Do you remember the last time you laughed so hard you leaned back afterwards, sighed and said, “Oh, I needed that!”?
Therapeutic humour promotes health and wellness and can be used to facilitate healing or coping whether physical, emotional, social or spiritual. In a moment of laughter or humour, we are drained of our fears and worries, and we are refilled with joy and delight!
These joyful, positive emotions stimulate our bodies natural healing ability.
Led by Kathleen McAulay, humour consultant, motivational speaker and certified laughter leader. She worked for almost 25 years in the Canadian broadcasting industry and is aware of the stress involved in meeting tight deadlines.
Begins 4 pm Friday; ends 1:30 pm Sunday.
Fee is $200; the deposit is $35.
